Flomax make Straight Flow and Right Angle Globe Valves are designed for flow control or On/Off isolation of fluids. The valves are linear motion valves, the disk of a Globe Valve can be totally removed from the flowpath or it can completely close the flowpath. The fundamental principle of a Straight Flow and Right Angle Globe Valve operation is the perpendicular motion of the disk away from the seat. This ensures that the ring-shaped space between the disk and seat ring gradually close as the Valve is closed. This property gives a Straight Flow and Right Angle Globe Valve reasonably good throttling capability.
Flomax make Straight Flow and Right Angle globe valves can be provided to suite any drilling standard, the valves are designed to allow easy seat replacement and the Long stuffing box provides for a leak proof and long operating life.
These valves are available in a variety of materials and with various seating options. The valve actuation can be manual hand wheel, Worm Gear , Air cylinder operated or Electrically operated as desired.
