Quality

The Valcraft Engineers is committed to bringing ingenious valve designs with special significance on quality, simple in-line with bare minimum maintenance, safety, and most crucial long service life. All this, combined with the adoption of high-quality materials. Adherence to the advanced manufacturing technology, precise design criteria, and automation in all Manufacturing Stages, ensures the top-notch quality at a competitive price.
Quality Assurance Plan

We have an independent quality control department, which reports directly to the Managing Director.

The quality assurance department is instructed with the task of assuming the quality of the finished product by a well planted, adequately documented and rigorous quality assurance plan. Quality at Valcraft intervenes and co-ordinates with various departments to fulfil its duty

Material Incoming Stage: In process Stage: Final Inspection Stage:
Materials from various suppliers are inspected visually for defects and dimensional accuracy.

Then, material test certificate from the suppliers is cross-referred, verified against international and company standards. Further testing, if required, is carried out on a case to case basis. The above process is documented, and the rectified material is passed to the store.

The quality assurance department (QAD) Co-ordinates with production department to draw out a schedule for incoming inspection

Regular inspection of the process goods for the critical dimensions is checked against process drawings to ensure consistent quality and to keep the operation vigilant and attentive at the workstation. The similar process of inspection is applied to sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

This stage is a columniation of the quality assurance department and activities I bringing a product to final inspection. The value is tested

  1. Dimensional Accuracy: The valves are checked for critical dimensions after assembly against G.A. Drawing/ Approved Drawing.
  2. Functionality: The valves are also checked against customer requirement. To ensure correct MOC & Accessories if any. The Valves are operated 3 to 4 times to ensure smooth and jerk-free functioning.
  3. Performance: The valves are subjected to require testing as specified by standards. These involve
    • Hydraulic shell testing
    • Hydraulic seat testing
    • Functioning under operating pressure (customers specification requirements)
